OHAFIA FESTIVAL 2O16!!!================
It was a great day for us today,as we celebrate our new yam festival in a grand style, as the Member representing Ohafia at the state house of Assembly, Hon Ifeanyi Francis Uchendu ....
Ohafia great sons and daughter's were in present, even as we received so many friends and well wishers... It was fun to listen to Chief Okwara Osonwa UGOMBA OHAFIA crack jokes to welcome everyone, as we had the 26 Ezeogo's ,Autonomous Traditional rulers, some dignitaries from Ohafia, including the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Abia state house of Assembly, some Honourable members, including the clerk of the house,some Government top functionaries and the Governor representative Prince George Nnanna Kalu ,The Deputy Speaker IMO state house of Assembly, the Commandant of Army Barracks Ohafia, Some top Men of God from Ohafia were all in attendance, as l will not forget my own brother Samuel Ikechukwu Anya who performed live to the glory of God...
So many old cultural dances came back on board ,as all the villages performed one after the other.
At a time, l saw myself dancing the Ekpe dance,honestly it has been years .l really enjoyed the Amaekpu Nkwa Ekpe which is the best...
