***Governance should go beyond selfish sentiments, tribalized & devoid of any selfish colouration.....
The Ngwa Profesionals league an elite association in Ngwa land has thrown their weight behind Dr Uche Ogah insisting that the rule of law must have to be respected irrespective of where we come from and the interest we stand to preserve insisting that Abia still rots and Ikpeazu is not helping matters.
It also
called on the President, Inspector General of Police and the Attorney
General of the Federation to immediately ensure that the rule of law is
enforced in Abia state where it appears that the Federal government is
keeping a blind eye on the flagrant abuse of established Federal High
Court verdict which sacked Dr OKEZIE Ikpeazu.
In a communique issued in Aba by the President of the elite Ngwa association Engr Ndubuisi Nwachukwu at the end of their general meeting, Ngwa Professionals irrespective of our fraternity and initial support to Dr. OKEZIE ikpeazu as our brother in the run up to the 2015 election, owe it an obligation now not only to Abians at large but to Ndi Ngwa to re emphasize that Governance should go beyond selfish sentiments, tribalized and devoid of any selfish colouration as is the case presently. Engr Nwachukwu decried that contrary to the views of a few Ngwa elders, the academia and professionals in Ngwa land were fully in support of the liberation of Abia state from those who have held it backwards, and believed that in the interest of peace, integrity and rule of law that Dr Ikpeazu should have vacated office in other not to look ambitious when especially Abians are unhappy with his avowed continued romance with the former governor.
Ndi Ngwa should realize that what is paramount and very important to us is who will deliver to us the dividends of democracy such as building our very broken and dilapidated roads all around Abia and Ngwa land in particular which our brother obviously have failed to address by sticking to the dictates of those who handed over to him etc.
Also the publicity secretary of the group Barr Ozioma Akwarandu called on their people not to be decieved but to wake up to the reality that only a few Ngwa elders who has been in previous administrations were the ones still enjoying the benefits of Ikpeazu's government and that as Professionals they are very sure that Dr Uche Ogah is in a better position to address the challenges of Abians and that heaven will not fall if a simple court order is obeyed and nothing stops Ikpeazu from continuing his appeals outside the government house the statement read if he was not being deceived and dragging the state too far to an uncalled cures.
