It has been known within the state and within the country that Ohafians are known as lover's of Education, it is our profession and tradition to see that our children and relatives attend both secondary and tertiary education. It is also known that as a result of Ohafians having many scholars among themselves, we understand the fact to take elections and voting very serious, and this gave us one popular name as " Nde Olu Vote" which means people that votes a lot.
We have been very unfortunate to produce a SENATOR or a GOVERNOR from this state constituency. This is not because we don't have qualified candidates, but due to a different mindset of many of us who believes so much in party politics. Honestly, it would have been fun if we can encourage one another to participate fully and be among the leader's of other scattered political parties in the country, so as to make us to have Ohafians contesting for a particular post in all the leading political parties, if possible. Buy what l understand is the pull him down syndrome which is affecting us,I.e" kaamaa kwa agu ulue erie, haa agu ofia rii",always finding fault in one another instead of to correct and advise one another, that is if you believe he is going astray...
Our Representatives ,be it elected or appointed, should stop taking criticisms as an insult, and should always take correction and amend where necessary, and should not attack anyone for criticising them bcos it is part of the game.
We need to understand ourselves, love one another, help each other, so that we can be ready to take on this #Ohafiaproject which is on already. A group of youths with the help of Ohafia political forum,Ohafia improvement Union, Ohafia political stakeholders and village Development unions should come together and get a blue print for this project.
