The
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has disowned members that attended
the Ohanaeze Ndigbo peace meeting on Sunday in Enugu, describing them as
“impostors”.
A statement by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, cautioned Ohanaeze to be careful in dealing with them.
“IPOB members intentionally boycotted the meeting until our leader is released unconditionally,” the statement said.
The statement praised the Acting leader of a factional Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Mr. Uchenna Madu, for genuinely propagate the restoration of Biafra.
